Looking for a Toastmasters Club?? |
Welcome to the Success Times Page. Spring 2008 Edition (739Kb .pdf file) It’s that time again folks. Please send your submissions to me at successtimes@d40toastmasters.org. What I’m looking for: Listing of new clubs. Listing of who received “Above and Beyond” Awards Significant events in clubs/areas/divisions/district Articles about the cool things some TMs are doing in/for/with clubs/areas/divisions/district Recommendations of what neat TM and/or club web sites are out there in cyberspace You all saw (well, at least I HOPE you did) the clubs that were highlighted in the last edition. You say that there weren’t any in your area/division? Wellllll, why not send me something? Help instill some more pride in those folks on the front lines… in the trenches. Make them want to tell others about THEIR club (“Hey Joe, Mary, come see what’s in this newsletter about my club! You really should come visit us.”) Write it and they will come (I heard that blowin’ in the wind the other day). Keep on toastin’ Have YOU Got News? Do YOU have some great news about your club, ANY club, or a Toastmaster, that you’d like to share with others in our District? If so, don’t be shy. Give credit where credit is due! Send it in to the Success Times at successtimes@d40toastmasters.org for inclusion in the next newsletter.Articles should be no more than 450 words (around 2000 characters), and should be accompanied by a byline indicating the authors name, Club/District affiliation, and Toastmaster credits (i.e. Joe Schmoe, MyClubName Club #999, VP Education, CL, ATMB)
